A musical encounter – meet the “Vienna Art Quartet”

Vienna Art Quartet - for music-lovers, a quartet by this name stands for the highest musical standards. Named after a city with an outstanding history in music, the Vienna Art Quartet continues the tradition of the “Viennese Masters”. Vienna is not only the meeting point of Eastern and Western cultures but was also the place where paths of the four musicians Peter Schulmeister, Natalija Raithel, Mariana Vozovik, and Michael Belsky crossed: reason enough for the musicians to deliberately adopt the name of the city where the most beautiful pieces for string quartet were written.

In their remarkable performances the four musicians constantly prove anew how fascinating and captivating classical music can be. Founded by Michael Belsky and Mariana Vozovik (then solo-violist of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra), the Vienna Art Quartet keeps what the outstanding bios of the four musicians promise: virtuosity and sensibility, and thus the highest level of musical enjoyments in classical music and beyond. This is another point where the name proves to be programmatic: after all, the Viennese did not only cultivate „their“ classical music but also enjoyed to be entertained by popular works of other famous composers.
